Apex Legends Update 1.95 Patch Notes

Update 1.95 has arrived for Apex Legends, and here is the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. Season 13 of Apex Legends, titled "Saviours", is now available on all platforms, adding a new legend named Newcastle to the game in addition to new map and PvE zone changes. There's a lot to discover in this new season, so here's everything new with Apex Legends update 1.95.

Apex Legends Update 1.95 Patch Notes

  • New Legend: Newcastle
    • Passive: recover the wounded
      • Slide your allies as you revive them and protect them with your Revive Shield.
    • Tactic: Mobile Shield
      • Launch a controllable drone that creates a mobile energy shield.
    • Ultimate: Castle Wall
      • Jump to an ally or target area and crash, creating a fortified fortress.
  • Monstrous Map Update
    • New Point of Interest: Slain Beast
    • New PVE Feature: IMC Armories
  • Map rotation
    • The map rotation for the season for Saviors will be Storm Point, Olympus, and World's Edge.
    • We are also removing the longer 2 hour rotation block.
  • Classified Reloaded
    • Apex Legends: Improved Saviors Ranked System adds level downgrades, entry cost adjustments, and a Ranked Points overhaul to promote team play.

Balance Updates

Fortified Legends

  • Fortified no longer reduces headshot damage

Craft rotation

  • Flatline & Longbow are out and now floor loot
  • Rampage and R-301 enter crafting

  • EVA-8, Arc, Flatline, P2020, Spitfire

Buff Helmets

  • Blue Helmet headshot damage reduction increased from 40% to 50%
  • Purple Helmet headshot damage reduction increased from 50% to 65%


  • Headshot multiplier changed from 3,0 to 2,0
  • Damage reduced from 145 to 140


  • Increased reload time from 2,6 to 3,1
  • Slightly increased processing times


  • Reduced headshot damage multiplier from 1,75 to 1,5
  • Headshot distance reduced from 64m to 57m
  • Cooldown time on overheat increased from 2,5 to 3,6
  • Slightly increased processing times


  • Damage reduced from 16 to 15
  • Reduced headshot damage multiplier from 1,75 to 1,5
  • Headshot distance reduced from 64m to 57m
  • Increased reload time from 2,8 to 3,2
  • Draw time increased to 0,8 from 0,7
  • Holster time increased from 0,75 to 0,65

  • Removed from floor loot and crafting bundles

Mozambique & Blue Helmet

  • Increased limb damage from 0,8 to 1,0

Crate of weapons

  • Spitfire back to ground loot
  • Mastiff in the crate

fire eater

  • Damage reduced from 19 to 18
  • Purple and Gold magazine capacity reduced from 55 to 50
  • Increased crouch hip fire spread
  • Barrel attachment slot removed
  • Reduced headshot damage multiplier from 1,75 to 1,5
  • Headshot distance reduced from 64m to 57m
  • Increased reload time from 3,2 to 3,4
  • Draw time increased to 0,8 from 0,7
  • Holster time increased from 0,75 to 0,65
  • Rise time increased to 0,65 from 0,55
  • Lower time increased to 0,6 from 0,5


  • Constricted breath pattern
  • Ammo capacity reduced from 6 to 4
  • Stock of ammunition : 28
  • Damage per pellet increased from 11 to 14
  • Increased pellet size
  • Rate of fire increased from 1,1 to 1,2

Cells and syringes

  • Cell and Syringe spawn rates reduced by approximately 18%.

Rampart Upgrades

  • Sheila turn time changed from 1,75s to 1,25s
  • Boosted Cover deployment health increased from 45 to 120
  • Boost Cover deploy time reduced from 4,25 to 3,6


  • Can no longer spin freely when launching during Skyward Dive


  • When going out of bounds, the following will be disabled:
    • Legend Abilities
    • Weapons, Orders and Survival Items
    • Healing items (will not cancel healing in progress)
    • All active passives (e.g. Valks Jet Packs)

edge of the world

  • Redesigned windows at Lava Siphon Control Tower to focus lines of sight
  • Added additional cover around Lava Pit of Lava Siphon
  • Gondola loot has been changed. The chances of finding high-level armor there have been greatly reduced. Climatizer and Lava Siphon will remain high tier loot hotspots

Bug fixes

  • Fix for players inside Bangalore smoke unintentionally getting aim assist on targets outside the smoke.
  • Fixed a bug where Valk could no longer use Jumptowers if she had already been downed during her Ultimate.
  • Fixed Volt animation for instances where the weapon and reticle have jittery animation when the player is crouched.
  • Fixed cases where weapons and attachments could be dropped/toggled during charge tower interaction, causing animation glitch.
  • Fixed Legendary Charge Rifle Skin “Curse of the Amazon” where the upper part of the weapon would block the camera view when aiming down sights.
  • Fixed a bug for cases where the user accesses the replicator and views their inventory before the replicator UI appears, they can drop their weapon and get stuck in a crouched position.
  • Canyonlands: Fixed cases where players could get stuck when trying to activate Valk's Ultimate.
  • Fixed a bug where season trackers would no longer display the season stats they were tracking.
  • Fixed a bug where the Sentinel could instantly charge when jumping.
  • Xbox One: Fixed cases where players sometimes had to skip the legend selection phase due to being stuck on the “waiting for players” screen.
  • Fixed an issue where hitting a player on an enemy team and then dying before getting a kill, can lead to the death being rewarded by another team instead
  • ARENAS – Fixed an issue where Boosted Loader was missing on Wingman.
  • Fixed an issue where finishers are not counting as damage for challenges.
  • Fixed a bug where Purple Evo shields would glow through closed Care Packages, Loot Pins, and Lifeline Care Packages.
  • Fixed cases where players could be killed by a death box if they came into contact with it on an airship.
  • Fixed a bug for an issue where players would get killed by throwing a caustic barrel at an opening door.


  • Fixed cases where Crypto's Legacy (sword) appears stuck in the middle of his body while his drone is deployed.
  • Fixed an issue when inspecting his Legacy with the “Deadly Byte” skin equipped, may show a missing arm texture.
  • Fixed cases where players could recall their drone instantly after activating their Ultimate.
  • Fixed a bug when Crypto uses his legendary skin, and while being revived by a Mirage, he becomes invisible except for his sunglasses which remain visible during the revive.


  • Fixed a bug where using Fuse's Tactical in water would cause the sound to be extremely loud.
  • Fixed a bug where players can extend the range of Motherlode if used on flyers, Crypto's drone, loot drones, and Loba's bracelet.


  • Fixed cases where Horizon's Ultimate disappears if the player opens a door next to it.


  • Fixed a bug where Wattson's ultimate's shield regeneration would reveal Mirage's location when invisible when revived.
  • Fixed a bug where Mirage decoys would sprint faster when the player was armed with an item than when unarmed.


  • Fixed an issue where grabbing loot scrolls from the ground can cause the player to be thrown at high speed.

New Custom Matching System

Custom Match replaces the old Private Match system.

  • Custom Match Quality of Life Improvements:
    • UI and design improvements.
    • Custom match now saves team names and match settings when returning from the match to the lobby.
    • Match flow improvements.
  • Added new launch parameters to pre-select view targets for Observer.
  • Updated the color palette used by observers when viewing teams (map preview + highlights)
    • Additionally, fixed the previously seen color duplication issue on the map overview
  • Updated team eliminated text to unique color for anonymous mode in custom match.

Apex Legends is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
