Last month, fans were thrilled to learn that Stranger from Heaven: Final Fantasy Origin would be adding the Rift DLC Wanderer on October 26. Despite initial feedback on Team Ninja's take on the first Final Fantasy title being largely negative, the title has managed to grow and evolve with continued fixes from the development team and love from fans of the game. franchise. Details on new DLC have been sparse, with only the addition of a new dungeon and class - Blue Mage - announced in September. Now, more information has been revealed less than two weeks before the release of this new content.

A full trailer for Rift Warrior has been uploaded to YouTube, showing off the Blue Mage class, hints at new additions to the main story, and more. This DLC takes place directly after the first DLC, Trials of the Dragon King. As expected, players will face off against Gilgamesh and his massive collection of swords, spears, and projectiles. Curiously, its appearance also invokes the Rift Labyrinth, which will allow players to engage in a new story arc and play through short, randomly constructed dungeons.

Rift Warrior will introduce the Blue Mage class to Stranger from Heaven: Final Fantasy Origin. Many long-time fans of the series will be familiar with this more unique job – as a Blue Mage encounters more and more enemies in the wild, they become able to learn enemy attacks and abilities to use later.

The DLC will also introduce Monster Bells, which are items that allow a player to instantly summon a monster to act as support during battle. To do this, players must first find a summoning stone and complete a special event. You will even have to speak with your monster of choice and feed it if necessary. Once your affinity reaches a certain level, the beast will become your friend, ready to jump into the line of fire when a battle gets tough.

A new difficulty level, aptly named Gilgamesh, will feature monsters imbued with dark, chaotic energy. These beasts are more dangerous than standard monsters, and when defeated, they will dish out incredibly sweet rewards.

A curious entry in the Final Fantasy franchise, Stranger from Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin was developed by Team Ninja and published by Square Enix to celebrate the series' 35th anniversary. The game is set in an alternate universe of the original Final Fantasy title and follows a group of characters brought to a fantasy world to take on the villainous Chaos.

Stranger from Heaven: Final Fantasy Origin was released on March 18, 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
