The hidden objects of level 1 "the return of the octarians heading for the charging fish"
You will have two collectibles to collect, a book page and a weapon upgrade key.
The Sadirnium upgrade key can be discovered just before a thruster. Climb to the right to get the upgrade key. This is in a crate at the top. Be careful, if you go up in the middle you will be teleported directly to the next checkpoint and you will have to start the level again to get the key.
The page is where you descend into three rings. Go around and you will find the World 1 item page. Refer to the screenshots below to locate the item.
