The humble Eevee looks pretty normal in Pokémon Sword and Shield, but what makes this popular creature so special is how it can transform into eight different forms. Originally starting with a few elemental evolutions, the series expanded Eevee's repertoire to include Dark Type, Fairy Type, and more. They are all adorable and all worth grabbing.



Evolution methods are not always what one would expect. If you want to get all eight forms, you will need to follow very specific instructions. To help you, here is a short guide explaining how to obtain the eight forms of Eevee. I will also explain where to find all the items you will need for these evolutions. Sword and shield.

How To Evolve All Evies | Evoluton Stone Locations and Solutions Guide

There are 8 evolutions – one for eight different Pokemon types. Depending on the method you use for Eevee, it will evolve into one of eight forms.



  • How to Capture Eevee: Eevee is on Route 4. Eevee are somewhat rare, so look for them in the field near the Eevee Pokekid.

You can evolve Eevee at any time by following the evolution methods listed below. You don't need to reach a specific level.

  • Voltali: Electric Type – Use an upgradable Thunder Stone item.
  • Aquali: Water Type – Use a water stone evolution item.
  • Pyroli: Fire Type – Use a Fire Stone evolution item.
  • Frostlily: Ice Type – Use an ice stone evolution item.
  • Phyllali: Grass Type – Use leafstone evolution item.
  • Mental: Psychic Type – Reach Happiness 160 and level up during the day.
  • Noctali: Dark Type – Reach Happiness 160 and level up overnight.
  • Nymphali: Fairy Type – Reach Happiness 160 and level up with a learned Fairy Type move.

Where to find evolution items

The five evolution stones can be obtained randomly through the Digging Duo Wilds. Find them to the right of the Pokemon Nursery – talk to the Stamina Brother for more rewards. Each time they will randomly dig up items for 500 watts.

Pokemon can also randomly return with one of these Evolution Stones from a Pokejob. Access Pokejobs from the terminal of any Pokémon Center.

How to Increase Pokemon Happiness


Pokemon Happiness is increased by bonding with your Pokemon at any PokeCamp. Play with them, give them attention, and join other camps so you can play with other Pokémon. Cooking and eating curry is another good way to increase your Pokemon's happiness.

How to Learn a Fairy-Type Move with Eevee
