Pokemon GO Season 8 is still ongoing for its Battle League, which rotates between different leagues every two weeks. The Ultra League tracker that's been around for two weeks has three different options. Due to more recent changes to the existing Master League, Niantic felt that some players would still want to experience the Master League as it once was and that is why the Master League Classic was created before and is back.
The best team in Master League Classic (June and July 2021)
For anyone who has been out of the Pokémon GO PvP game for a while, Master League Classic will actually be like you remember Master League in the past. This is because the introduction of what is known as XL Candy more recently completely changed the way Master League works. This is because before Pokemon could only be level 40 like trainers but now with the expansion to level 50 Pokemon can also be upgraded with the XL Candy.
For those who don't know what Master League is in any form, it doesn't limit you by CP on what Pokemon you use. This means that you are not limited to 1500 or 2500 like with Great League and Ultra League respectively, but rather can be as big as possible. There is, however, one major restriction that makes this Master League classic.
Master League Classic prohibits the use of Pokemon that have exceeded level 40 and used XL Candy. As a result, the list of recommended Pokemon to use changes a bit, though there's certainly a lot of the same Pokemon in both as well. That's why we've compiled a list and broken them down into three tiers of which Pokémon are best for Master League Classic in June and July 2021.
