Is it an automatic sensor?

No, this is not the case. You'll have to manually press the button each time you want to catch a Pokemon or spin a PokeStop. This may be a deal breaker for some, as people will walk past PokeStops to collect items and have them auto-captured with other devices.

The other reason it doesn't work as an auto sensor is because of the Niantic Terms of use. Using an Auto Catcher device is technically considered cheating according to their TOS, so if you're looking to keep your account squeaky clean, this is the device for you.

However, the players did 3D printed accessories this will make this device work more like an automatic sensor, and you would be much less likely to get into trouble using this method compared to other devices on the market.

Is it worth it?

It depends on your style of play. If you're still avidly trying to catch them all, then this is a quintessential accessory you need to add to your gear. Although it doesn't have all the features of some automatic sensors, it's a great piece of technology that would suit almost anyone.

If you are a more casual gamer, the $ 34,99 the price may scare you a bit. However, if you're looking to get more involved with the game, this might be the next step you need to take your Pokemon GO adventure more seriously and help you discover the world and experience the game in a new light.
