Guide Brawl Stars tips and tricks to understand SuperCell's new game

After a long period of waiting, Brawl Stars is finally available for everyone on iOS AND Android. This title has been widely awaited by mobile players since it is the developers of SuperCell who are the creators. To whom we owe great mobile and popular titles like Clash of Clans, Clash Royale or Boom Beach…

Brawl Stars is a multiplayer and competitive fighting game, players fight in 3v3 arenas like in a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) and gradually unlock new characters (brawlers) and win trophies, which makes it possible to determine the level of play of a player compared to another and one finds this data in the majority of the creations of SuperCell.

If you are new to Brawl Stars or want to learn a couple of useful things about the game, we have prepared a batch of tips and tricks for you that will help you improve and better understand the gameplay.

Tip 1: Do not spend your gold coins and gems unnecessarily:

By playing Brawl Stars and because the game is intended to be Free To Play (understand by this playing without paying or almost), you will earn two types of currencies, standard coins and gems which are more premium. Either way, don't spend your savings blindly without taking the time to think things through.

The in-game store will regularly announce Daily Deals or Deals of the Day, sort of virtual promotions that make you think you're getting a deal. However, this is not always the case, if in the special offers you see coins and power points, know that it is not worth the amount of gems spent.

Similarly, you can spend a few standard gold coins for power points, don't do that either. You will earn these power points naturally by playing the different modes of Brawl Stars. You just need to be patient and keep your savings warm for real occasions, like upgrading your brawlers (characters) which require gold coins and power points. The gems, spend them only during a deal of the day on a megabox for example or for a double token ticket and only for this kind of business otherwise keep them until you see a real good opportunity.

Note that it is useful to make a regular visit to the in-game store, sometimes you can recover power points for a certain brawler (character) without spending anything. A really special offer also appears in the shop every 5 ranks and can be good opportunities to get megaboxes at a lower cost in gems… Think about it!

Tip 2: Pay attention to your life points and your ammunition:

In Brawl Stars you will be tempted to push back the team by being aggressive, but if there is no synergy between your game and that of your teammates you have a good chance of dying in a few seconds making your experience frustrating game. When you play Gem Raid for example, stay in the middle of the area, the goal is to collect as many gems as possible to end the game. You just have to keep control of the area and only shoot when an opponent is really within range of your weapon.

If you empty your loader on an enemy to carry, he has a good chance of staying there… Better still, you also have a chance of being able to trigger your special if you have managed the situation well. Be careful though, if things haven't gone well with the opponent in front, don't be afraid to back off while your health gauge and ammo recharge to attempt another assault. If you don't back down and you're out of ammunition, you have every chance of getting killed...

Find the right balance between defensive and offensive play! The first games should be easy if you figure it out early enough, as new players who don't educate themselves don't really know how to react on the field which makes them easy targets to eliminate!

Tip 3 – Don't forget to collect your trophy rewards:

As you play, your in-game trophies increase or decrease based on your performance in the arenas whether in team, duo, or solo co-op. These trophies give you perks or at least regular rewards! In the game menu, click on your player "nickname" in the upper left to get the rewards for the current season.

In addition to unlocking new characters (brawlers) to test in combat, you will also regularly get brawl boxes, big boxes or even megaboxes. Trophies are also an opportunity to obtain tickets which double the tokens earned, power points for a brawler of your choice and a whole host of other rewards. Remember to check regularly if your won trophies do not allow you to obtain new rewards!

Tip 4 – Play with all your characters to quickly level up your trophies:

Don't just focus on one character (brawler). Be aware that the matchmaking of the game is determined on your level of trophies. The more you have, the more likely you are to play against Brawl Stars regulars, which will make your games more difficult, and therefore could discourage you from learning to use the other characters in the game. However, using all your unlocked brawlers at one advantage, you can earn more total trophies and thus unlock the trophy rewards (see previous tip) faster.

Indeed, each brawler has its level of trophies, trophies that accumulate between each character to create your total trophy gain. It will be easier to win trophies on a character who has 50 trophies rather than another with which you already have 400 trophies… Playing with all the characters, you will in any case become more versatile which will make you more over time even better !

Tip 5 – Several brawlers for several game modes, but not only:

This is another data to take into account in Brawl Stars and which will make you more versatile as explained in the previous tip. Not all brawlers are created equal and each of the characters in the game will prove more useful in one situation than another! Test the different characters in all game modes of Brawl Stars to determine which is more appropriate for a situation and a game objective... Also take into account if you are going to play solo, in duos or in teams of three.

One thing to know too, by playing regularly with all the characters, you naturally learn about their strengths and weaknesses. It allows you to know the effect distance of a weapon and the behavior of an ultimate attack, which will give you a head start when you find yourself in front of a specific character of the opposing team.
