Teyvat is a very active world where tons of people and animals roam. After version 2.3 was released and Inazuma has been available for a few months, a new feature has been added. This is the ability to capture animals using the Omni-Ubiquity Net. Although not all animals in the game can be captured. Those that can can be released into your Serenitea pot and used to decorate it. Of course, each region has different wildlife to collect, including Sumeru. You are probably wondering which animals you can bring home and which cannot be caught.
To help you collect all the possible animals, the list below summarizes all the animals you can catch in Sumeru, as well as the places where to find them.

Every collectible animal in the forests of Sumeru and where to find them
There are a total of five animals you can catch in Sumeru's rainforest areas. For the most part, none of these animals will be particularly difficult to find. They're also pretty easy to catch, just make sure your aim is low and your character is close enough to capture them.
Here are the four animals you can catch in the forests of Sumeru:
- dusk bird: To Sumeru forests and around suburbs of the city of Sumeru.
- Red-tailed lizard: These can be found running around the rivers de Sumeru.
- Sanglier: These can easily be found wandering around the forests de Sumeru.
- Puny Mushroom Boar: These can be found around the normal Boars.
- forest tree frog: These can be found easily around the Tormented Returns near the city of Sumeru.
If you need more Omni-Ubiquity Nets or don't have yours yet, head over to Inazuma. Just outside of Inazuma Town is an NPC named Wakamurasaki. You can buy 5 Omni-Ubiquity Nets per week for 10 Mora each. You will need to do the world quest associated with the item before using it. Fortunately, it is distributed by the same NPC.
Other wild animals from Sumeru to Genshin Impact
In addition to the Sumeru wildlife that you can capture, you will encounter a number of other creatures roaming Sumeru. Some will attack you like the Spinokrokwhile others are a bit friendlier like the Drudge. There is also Tigers of Rishboland wandering in the jungle. These creatures drop meat when killed, but you shouldn't expect to keep them in your Serenitea Pot anytime soon.
