For passionate explorers Genshin impact who like to light up Teleport Waypoint and Statue of the Seven before anything else, this one Apam Woods Teleporter might prove confusing. Following the Patch 3.0 update that brought Sumeru to the nearby gates of Liyue, players have been more than excited to experience the various realms and world bosses scattered throughout the rainforest greens. Which brings the question back to Apam Woods, why is there a hidden waypoint on the map, and what do you need to do to reach it?
Access the teleport point under Apam Woods in Genshin Impact
The teleport point under Apam Woods in Genshin Impact is encountered as part of the Aranyaka World Quest Chain, which players gain access to after playing through the Gandharva City parts of the Archon of Sumeru Chapter 1 quest. The player becomes entangled in a series of world quests involving the Aranaras following an encounter in the woods with Rana forest watcher in Avidya forest. This eventually leads to players seeking help in the village for the Aranaras, with players obtaining several tools and gadgets to help them better navigate Sumeru's landscapes.
After reaching part 2 of Aranyaka's quest chain, players will unlock Varuna Gaetha, a subsection of world quests belonging to the same quest chain. Players must head west from the Statue of the Seven in the Kingdom of Ashavan and help an Aranara called Arapandu. It should be located right next to the paths, surrounded by a group of mushrooms trying to attack it.
This leads to other World Quests belonging to the Varuna Gaetha category of World Quests, culminating in an encounter with Arapandu and his kin in the Apam Woods. Players will know they are at the appropriate stage if they have reached the A prayer for rain on fertile land world quest. Completing a series of prerequisite steps grants players the ability to access the large hollowed-out trunks apparently housing a giant blue orb in the middle of the woods, with a tunnel leading to a cavern.
Descend and navigate the caverns below, following quest prompts along the way. Doing the quest objectives will eventually take players to an open space containing the teleport waypoint they haven't yet unlocked below the lands of Apam Woods. Unlock it and continue the world quest.
