Genshin Impact: How to Unlock and Start the Sumeru Archon Quest

Genshin Impact version 3.0 is here, bringing players not just the region's debut of sumeru, but also that of a new series of characters, enemies and artifacts. That said, the release also features the start of a new series of Archon Quests. But how can you unlock them? Now, to answer that and more, and to help anyone looking to delve deeper into the mysteries and secrets hidden beneath Sumeru, here's how to unlock and start the first Sumeru Archon quest on Genshin Impact version 3.0.



Genshin Impact: How to Unlock and Start the Sumeru Archon Quest

After updating your game to the latest patch, you will be able to unlock the first part of the Sumeru Main Scenario Quest by first reaching Adventurer Level 35 and then completing the Chapter II Archon Quest: Act IV “Requiem of the Echoing Depths”. Once that's done, you'll be able to start the quest by heading to The Chasm region. Once there, all you have to do is head to the teleport point below Cinnabar Cliff, then head to the marked point to trigger the first Sumeru Archon quest. After completing the first Archon Quest, the second, “Morning Brings a Thousand Roses,” will automatically become available.

  • Reach Adventurer Level 35.
  • Complete the Chapter II: Act IV Archon quest “Requiem of the Resounding Depths”.
  • Travel to The Chasm area, specifically to the teleport point below Cinnabar Cliff.
  • Follow the path until you reach the new region.
