The dungeon of duality is here in Destiny 2 and with it brand new weapons like Lingering Dread. This is a Kinetic and Stasis Breach Grenade Launcher that has been considered the best in the game. Unfortunately, weapons released with the Duality Dungeon cannot be crafted, so it will be difficult to obtain the Lingering Dread God Roll.
After finding Lingering Dread once in the Destiny 2 Duality dungeon, you can get more copies from the two secret Duality chests. You can also lingering terror by crushing Duality and defeating Gahlran's Nightmare. And, while you're at it, you might as well get the Mindstealer's Triumph to increase your chances of getting the Heartshadow Exotic Sword.
Lingering Dread God Roll Destiny 2 PvP
As mentioned earlier, Lingering Dread is a Breach Grenade Launcher that has long been considered the best type of Grenade Launcher in the game with Mountaintop reigning supreme. That said, Lingering Dread is a great PvP weapon. The first perks you'll want are Volatile launch et Proximity Grenades. Volatile Launch sacrifices handling speed and projectile speed to dramatically increase blast radius, making your shots more forgiving in Crucible, and proximity grenades reduce blast radius but increase proximity sensing, which which is crucial for PvP.
The last two best perks for Lingering Dread when it comes to PvP are Demolitionist et Vorpal. With Demolitionist, each kill you get with Lingering Dread will grant you 20% grenade energy. Vorpal is great for killing Super Guardians as it will deal more damage to Guardians with Supers.
Destiny 2 PvE Persistent Dread God
Although Lingering Dread is a powerhouse in PvP, it also works great as crowd control in PvE. The Lingering Dread PvE divine roll starts with Quick Start et Spike Grenades. Rapid Launch is ideal for firing your shots quickly as it increases the maneuverability and speed of the projectile. Spike Grenades are especially great for bosses as they increase direct damage and increase stability.
The last two benefits of Lingering Dread you will want are Ambitious Assassin et Clip Multikill. Ambitious Assassin improves reload speed while increasing magazine capacity by up to 50% after fast finishing hits. This pairs really well with Multikill Clip as it grants increased damage for a period of time once you reload after quickly defeating enemies. With this God Roll, your Lingering Dread will be a force to be reckoned with.
