Season of Light is officially here in Pokemon GO and with it, a brand new Special Research called A Cosmic Companion. This special research will focus on the new Pokemon named Cosmog.
There are three parts to this special research; the second part will be released on October 5th and the third will be released on November 23rd. Special Research tasks and rewards are free for all players. To begin the A Cosmic Companion Special Research, simply speak to Professor Willow.
With all that out of the way, here's all tasks and rewards for Pokemon GO Season of Light: A Cosmic Companion Special Research.
A Cosmic Companion Stage 1
- Catch 15 Pokemon — 5 Razz Berries
- Faire 10 lancers Curveball — Dating Staryu
- Catch 15 Psychic-type Pokemon — 5 pinap berries
Once all tasks are completed, you will be rewarded with the following:
- Cosmog meeting
- 1 XP
- 500 stardust
A Cosmic Companion Stage 2
- Offer 3 treats to your friend — Woobat Dating
- Earn 10 candies by walking with your buddy — Dating Staryu
- Catch 15 Psychic-type Pokemon — Dating Munna
Once all tasks are completed, you will be rewarded with the following:
- 1 Poffin
- 2 XP
- 500 stardust
A Cosmic Companion Stage 3
- Earn 15 hearts with your friend — Meeting of Ralts
- Send 10 gifts to friends — Dating Staryu
- Catch 20 different species of Pokemon – 25 poke balls
Once all tasks are completed, you will be rewarded with the following:
- 5 pinap berries
- 3 XP
- 1 stardust
A Cosmic Companion Stage 4
- Check back with Professor Willow for more details — 789 XP
Once all tasks are completed, you will be rewarded with the following:
- 25 Cosmog Candies
- 3 XP
- 1 stardust
