When fishing for eel, there is no guarantee that the return will be low or steady. To start fishing, you need to have a crafted fishing shack in your colony. To unlock this ability, your settlement will need to be level 2 or higher, in addition to earning 600 supplies and 45 raw materials. Since fishing is such an integral part of Valhalla gameplay, gathering the resources to create a fishing shack is pretty straightforward.

There are two ways to catch eels in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. First, of course, you can do the traditional method of casting a line and hoping for the best. However, players also have the option of shoot the eel with a bow and arrows rather than relying on luck. Eels appear as yellow streaks in the water, so aim for these when casting or using a bow.
