The leak details the missions and objectives for the game's new DMZ mode.
Gamers who are really looking forward to getting in on the action in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 will be keen to hear about the game's latest leaked content. As reported earlier today by Tom Henderson in Insider Gaming , a Call of Duty data miner has uncovered insider information about the upcoming shooter's all-new DMZ mode.
The new mode, which is an extraction-style mode that is the first of its kind in Call of Duty: Warzone, will give players a number of objectives and missions to complete within its gameplay. According to Henderson's report, the data uncovered by this data miner pretty much exposed all of the individual missions and specific objectives of the DMZ mode. Among these are a number of extraction-specific tasks, such as extracting a set number of weapons, cash, and, interestingly, liquor bottles.
Mining money is an interesting move, as if true, it may suggest that in-game currency used in Warzone 2 can be kept and used to purchase DMZ-specific gear and/or weapons. Of course, we'll just have to wait and see if that's the case when the game launches on November 16. Extract X amount of enemy grunt weapons
Mission note: “Al Qatala has set up several surface-to-air missile sites in the DMZ. Frequently there are transport planes flying overhead, SAM sites can shoot them down, allowing you to pick up their supplies.
Capture X number of SAM sites
Mission Summary: “We need to acquire information on how Al Qatala is arming its grunts. Bring back some of their weapons so we can analyze them.
Extract X amount of money in one match
Mission Summary: “We are running out of money due to several consecutive botched operations by your comrades. We urgently need a lump sum for an upcoming assignment.£
Extract a hailstorm
Mission Summary: “Uncle Sam is looking to investigate weapons distributed throughout Saba. Acquire and extract a Hail Storm shotgun and we can use it to gain goodwill with the feds. There is a rumor that the Hail Storm can be purchased at specific Buy Stations.
Kill a boss and extract its weapon case
Summary of the mission: “We have received information that the chemist has acquired a briefcase containing rare weapons of great value. Find a hard drive and download it in order to find it. Obtain his gun holster by any means necessary.
Extract with a full backpack
