Numel is a Fire and Ground-type Pokémon, which makes it more versatile as it is extremely vulnerable to Water-type attacks. Numel can also evolve into Camerupt. Numel Spotlight start and end time
As with every Spotlight Hour, the Numel Spotlight Hour begins Tuesday, May 10 at 18:00 p.m. local time and ends at 19:00 p.m. local time the same day. With the times figured out, will Numel shine in the Spotlight Hour?
Can Numel be brilliant?
No Unfortunately, Numel can't shine in Pokemon GO yet. It's unclear when Niantic reveals and doesn't reveal shiny versions of Pokemon, making it hard to say when to expect a shiny Numel. In the meantime, you can focus on trying to get a Lucky Pokémon or Shiny Charizard. There are also plenty of other Shiny Pokémon coming out during the May spotlight hours, so be sure to check back for more on those opportunities.
How to Catch Numel
Even though Numel can't be shiny, it's still a great Pokemon to have. And if you catch enough, you can evolve it into Camerupt. Of course, you'll want to check your Numel's IV to make sure you're only evolving the best. But first you have to catch a Numel.
There are several things you'll want to remember when entering Numel Spotlight Hour in Pokemon GO. To maximize the hour, make sure you free up enough space in your storage and buy decoys or incense. By doing this, you will be doing yourself a favor by prepare to catch as many Numel as possible.
Bonus Numel Spotlight Hour
The bonus active during the Numel Spotlight Hour is 2x transfer candies. This means that, during this time, any Pokemon you transfer to Professor Willow will earn you 2x the candy. Even if you're not interested in Numel, be sure to take advantage of the bonus during the Spotlight Hour window.
