Dance Monitor 2, Bastion slightly reworked his kit, making him a bit more mobile, but not by much. To perform the Bastion Rocket Jump in Overwatch 2, all you need to do is throw an A-36 tactical grenade to the groundwalk to the location directly above the grenade and jump a few seconds before the explosion. It takes a little practicebut once you have a good idea of when the A-36 Tactical Grenade will fire, you can use this new Bastion rocket jump to your advantage.
The Overwatch 2 Bastion rocket jump is ideal for reaching higher ledges or on the second floor of buildings. You can also use it while you have the heights. Launch, switch to tank mode in the air and land behind the enemy line, smashing them to pieces.
Rocket Jump is a secret move in Bastion's Robotic Sleeve. This gives a little boost if you want to climb to a second floor or charge into battle a little faster. Additionally, it's worth noting that the Overwatch 2 Bastion rocket jump works just as well on the controller.
Although not as easy or effective as Bastion's rocket jump in Overwatch 1 where in cannon mode he could just aim at the ground behind him, shoot and throw anywhere on the map, the Overwatch 2 Bastion rocket jump is still effective.
Bastion doesn't have much mobility. He is one of the slower heroes and can be frustrating to use when he wants to rush into battle. Also, if you want to get high, Bastion's main abilities don't offer anything for verticality.
