If you don't know, Divinity is an exotic bow rifle in Destiny 2 and is one of the best Exotics in the game. And, with the potential builds that the new Arc 3.0 brings, Divinity is better than ever. Here's how to get Divinity in Destiny 2.
The reason Divinity is so good is because of its exotic perks. Starting with Judgment, this Intrinsic Exotic perk allows Divinity to create a field that weakens and disrupts an enemy taking sustained damage. This means your teammates will deal bonus damage to the enemy you beam with Divinity.
In addition to this, Divinity has the Penance Trait which hits your target with a burst of damage if they're under the effects of Judgment long enough. Needless to say, Divinity is a powerful weapon that suits all teams for raids and boss fights.
How to Get Divinity in Destiny 2
Destiny 2 is filled with exotic armor and weapons and Divinity is the one that was released during the Shadowkeep expansion in October 2019. That said, the only way to get Divinity in 2022 is to acheter l’extension Shadowkeep. If you don't have access to Shadowkeep, you can't get the Divinity Exotic.
But, before unlocking the Shadowkeep expansion, you can make a lot of progress in unlocking Divinity. It's a long road, but here's how to unlock Divinity in Destiny 2.
First, you must start in the Sorrow's Harbor area on the Moon. Travel to the bottom right of the area and cross the red bridge. Once it opens, travel left towards the cave entrance. This is where the Raid begins, but you access it through the Public Events space.
Once you've come across the Vex, start cleaning them all up. After a while, a boss will appear through the portal. If you kill him, the Divinity Exotic quest will drop called "What is this... What is this?".
Vex Core Analyzed
For the next part of getting Divinity, you need to trip to nessus. You must visit the three Lost Sectors on Nessus and find the coin hidden in each one. In the hidden room you will find the Vex Core which needs to be analyzed. There are three in total.
Dance L’Orrery, there is a secret high passage on the right side of the long main hallway with a blue light. In The old man's lair, the secret room is directly to the left of the entrance to the Lost Sector in a small alcove. In The Confluent, the secret area is located in the main area where enemies spawn. You will need to climb a few stairs to find this room.
Repaired decryption core
For this part of the Divinity quest, all you need to do is eliminate Vex on the Moon. The easiest way to do this is to search for public events. Your best bet is to stay close to Vex invasion areas.
If you see a Vex boss, focus on the grunts first because you need 120 Vex kills. You'll know you're progressing on this quest if you receive Decryption Core Fragments from killing Vex.

The next stage of the Divinity quest requires a empowered core. This is purchased from the Lectern of Enchantment at the Sanctuary on the Moon. The material you need to purchase the Reinforced Core is 30 Phantasmal Shards.
You can head to Sorrow's Harbor to farm Nightmarish enemies for the materials you need or you can spend Helium Filaments to get Phantasmal Fragments. Once you have 30 Phantasmal Shards, buy the Empowered Decryption Core. Once done, talk to Eris Morn who is right next to the desk of enchantment.
Garden of Salvation raid and puzzles
That much, you will need to purchase the Shadowkeep expansion Raid the Garden of Salvation. Unfortunately, there is no way around this. You will have to launch yourself into the pit and solve 7 puzzles at once.
Begin: Once you enter the Vex Portal and enter the Black Garden, turn around and head into the large green pit. Jump off the ledge and quickly turn and slide towards the opening. Introduce your Empowered Decryption Core and you will now be able to solve the 6 puzzles.
Riddle 1 : The first puzzle is at the left and right of the stairs which lead back to the first meeting area. You will need to use your six teammates to attach the box to the item. Find the box, then find the object. Orient your team so that each member has a tether running through them.
Puzzle Two: After beating the first encounter, travel along the left side of the stage to a pink tree. Crouch and drop down the hole to find another tether puzzle. Similar to the first, orient your team to create a tether from the box to the object.
Puzzle three: See you at the second meeting. In the water lily area, travel up and down until the area with 6 floating red diamonds. Use the tie under the big branch to make the stream pass through the 6 diamonds.
Fourth puzzle: Then beat the second and third encounters. For the fourth puzzle, you'll find the tether box right on the ledge of the main area. Log in and align your team on the 6 diamonds Again. Use a warlock's glide to thread the tether through the last two floating diamonds.
Five puzzles: For the fifth puzzle, enter the tether connection in the same box. Make sure your the whole team is united and travel left then right through the hallway entrance. There will be Vex Bombers that will kill you, so be prepared for them or take the hourglass form required by the red diamonds beforehand.
Sixth puzzle: Once you are in the waterfall area, cross the passage between the waterfalls. Ignore the diamonds on the ground and use the box to attach your team to the object that is further in the cave.
Puzzle Seven: For the last puzzle, you must line up in the order you are tied together. If you're on the lily pad overlooking the six diamonds with the box to your left, the order is one down left with two above one and three above two. Four is directly connected from three to the other column. Five is less than four and six is less than five. If done correctly, the pattern on the floor will change and you will have to match its order. Keep doing this until you solve the last puzzle.
Once all the puzzles have been completed, complete the raid. Open the two chests and, finally, you will receive divinity. Congratulations!
