If you've refrained from creating a Secret Base in the past, now is the time and here's how to do it in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
How to Create a Secret Base in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Getting secret bases to become accessible isn't as easy as it looks, so in order for that to happen in your game, you'll need to complete a few steps first.
- First, you need to get the Digger Drill. Once you get it, you can create your secret base. To acquire it, you can complete the challenges of Eterna City offered to you by the underground man. You can find it next to the Pokémon Center.
- After obtaining the Digger Drill, travel to the Great Underground using your Explorer's Kit. You should know that there is no turning back once you have chosen the location of your secret base, as the Digger Drill is only a one-time use item, so make sure that it is where you want it to be.
- You are now ready to create your secret base. Find a wall, then open the menu and select Digger Drill from the Traps option.
- Once done, a hole will open in the wall and in this new area you will then be in your secret base.
- Now that the base is created, you can later move it to another location. To do this, simply find another Digger Drill by going to the Great Underground and using your Explorer Kit.
- Then you can also trade spheres with the vendors in the Grand Underground.
- Once you have your new Digger Drill, find your new location for a secret base and face the wall wherever you want. Go to the menu and repeat the steps above and select move from the list of options and from there your secret base will now be in its new location.
- You can repeat this as many times as you want.
