Guide The Outer Worlds how faults / phobias work how many there are the complete list

In The Outer Worlds, you have many ways that allow you to advance your character's attributes. Each time you gain a level, you get points to redistribute in different categories… Then, every 5 additional levels, you get a new “advantage” point which allows you to unlock bonus skills.

Except that at some point in the game, you will be confronted with the faults / phobias… If you do not know what it is or how it works, then we explain to you everything you need to know about this topic and we share with you the full list of Flaws / Phobias that you can get in the game.

Phobias/flaws in The Outer Worlds, how it works and what it's for:

Everyone in life is afraid of something… And it's also the case for your character in The Outer Worlds who can develop a phobia. Be careful, becoming phobic in the game is permanent, there is no going back… On the other hand, it is something “non-mandatory” which means that you have the choice or not of accepting to receive a fault. A phobia is always accompanied by different statistical maluses which can become more or less disabling depending on the defect accepted.

In addition, each time you accept a new flaw, you gain a bonus "advantage" point in addition to those you receive as your character levels up. Knowing that you can accept up to 3 faults in "normal" difficulty, 4 in "hard" difficulty and up to 5 faults in "supernova" difficulty.

★ Tip – A flaw does not only affect your character, but your whole team. Think carefully before accepting the penalties of a flaw, especially since there is no punishment or negative effect for refusing to become phobic in the game.
