After a few deliveries on foot in the world of Death Stranding, you will arrive at the distribution center west of the relay capital where you can see that a motorcycle has remained abandoned outside the building. This bike is broken, you will need to recharge its batteries if you want to be able to use it freely.
We tell you how you can get an energy generator in the game and thus recharge the battery of this motorcycle. Be careful, your motorcycle will deteriorate over time. You will have to take great care of it during your distributions so as not to find yourself walking in the middle of nowhere. Where to find the energy generator to recharge the batteries?
The power generator is obtained during the main deliveries. If you have just arrived at the distribution center west of the hub capital, continue with your deliveries. At some point you will be sent to the wind farm, there you will learn that a power generator has been added to your CCP, the device that allows you to build buildings in a chiral environment whose network is connected. If you don't have a CCP on you, use a Delivery Terminal to craft one. A level 1 PCC requires 32 resins and 40 metals.
How to use the energy generator to recharge the batteries of the motorcycle?
Stand close to the motorcycle, press the "right directional button" on your controller, hold it and choose the CCP object. Sam will hold it in his hands. Now you have to choose the type of structure to build... Long press the "down directional button" on your controller and choose the "generator" structure. Place the generator near the motorcycle, aim with L2 and start building with R2. Once finished, the generator will recharge the motorcycle on its own.
Once the batteries are full, you can hop on the bike and ride freely around the area. You can relieve Sam's back by placing heavy objects directly on the motorcycle. For example, you can store ladders and other objects that can be used in the environment.
★ Note – crossing rivers will degrade your bike and the batteries will drain faster. Rain will also damage your motorcycle. Make sure you don't stay too long in these environments if you don't want to end up deliveries on your own two legs.
How to repair the three-wheeled motorcycle in Death Stranding?
Whenever you arrive at a delivery center where there is a private room for Sam, place the motorcycle in the center of the elevator circle and choose to drive to your quarters. Your motorcycle will be stored in the garage and will be repaired at the same time. Do this every time you join a distribution center if you don't want to lose your motorcycle.
★ Note 2 – If your motorbike ended up at the bottom of a river or you accidentally destroyed it, be aware that later in the adventure you will have access to other types of vehicles and you will have the possibility of build other motorcycles and others by having the right materials.
