GTA Online intensifies the Halloween hysteria

Check out the new BF Weevil Custom at Benny's.

Things are getting even spookier in the world of GTA Online this week. Rockstar Games revealed today that it will be adding even more spooky seasonal content to the game. In addition to the current Halloween activities and additions, the streets of Los Santos are about to be stalked by the Clone Slasher, among other exciting new tricks and treats.

Players will want to be sure to stop by Benny's Original Motor Works, where this week they can pick up the all-new '70s-inspired BF Weevil Custom vehicle. This seasonal ride decked out in GTA Online's best Halloween adornment. and is ready to roll with flame decals and menacing roof spikes.

Along with the spooky new custom vehicles, players can pick up a number of additional rare items in GTA Online this week. Top of the list to get over the next few days has to be the rare Sasquatch outfit. Fortunately, all players can get it for free as long as they don't forget to log in and play GTA Online on October 31st. All players will also be able to get their hands on the Judgment Day Mask of Death, which is also up for grabs this week. This will complement the game's existing Judgment Day mode, which has been running all month in GTA Online. The mode will also reward players with 2X GTA$ and 2X RP this week, along with a number of other new modes that are being added to the action.

Among these are the Halloween Bunker series and three other Halloween-themed modes, Condemned, Come Out to Play, and Loot vs. Damned. Doomed will see a player marked for death, who can either choose to die as time passes or choose to infect those around them with the Killing Curse, which is good of them. Come Out to Play is a beat-the-clock style mode where players must return to their bases as quickly as possible while being hunted down. Finally, Loot vs. Damned will see players face off in teams of demons or angels as they compete for points during a fast-paced day/night cycle.

Rockstar also plans to heighten player paranoia over the coming week with driverless vehicles and bizarre characters stalking people on the streets of Los Santos; the Clone Slasher will be hard at work. Players can also collect additional reward items, such as the Halloween Chute Bag for completing Sell Missions and the Pale Vintage Mummy Mask or the Green Vintage Frank Mask for delivering cargo in a Trade Battle. For the full list of everything added to the game this week, check out the official update on Rockstar's website.

GTA Online is available now on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
